White Bluff-Rye Hill Volunteer Fire Department provides Fire Protection, Medical, Search & Rescue, Auto Extrication, along with Fire Safety and Prevention Programs. The department’s fire coverage area includes the White Bluff, Rye Hill, Shadow Lake and a large portion of the Jenny Lind communities.
This year we are planning on putting together 1,000 “goody bags” to have SANTA hand out in the White Bluff, Rye Hill, Jenny Lind and Shadow Lake communities that comprise our Fire District.
We are a 100% volunteer non-profit fire department that is seeking your help in making this event possible.
During our annual SANTA VISIT, the Firefighters, Emergency Medical Personnel, Ladies Auxiliary and Junior Firefighters from the White Bluff – Rye Hill Volunteer Fire Department, take SANTA CLAUS, aboard the fire trucks, throughout the area handing out goody bags to kids and adults alike, in order to promote the Christmas spirit, fire safety and prevention and to display our fire trucks and firefighting equipment. This event has grown every year for the past 30+ years, and is something the people in the area really look forward to each Christ-mas. It is funded by donations from area businesses and individuals, and the flyer we send out in all of the “goody bags”, has a list of the people and businesses who have contributed to the annual event.

WBRH VFD Personnel:
Drivers have trucks at Station B by 9:30-10:00 AM and we will start decorating them. All trucks will leave Station B for their Santa Visit routes at 12:00 NOON.
