SUMMARY:Santa Visit Day! – Santa Run 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year\, we are planning on putting together over 1\,000 “goody bags” to have SANTA hand out in the White Bluff\, Rye Hill\, Jenny Lind\, and Shadow Lake communities that comprise our Fire District. \nWe are a 100% volunteer non-profit fire department that is seeking your help in making this event possible. \nDuring our annual SANTA VISIT\, the Firefighters\, Emergency Medical Personnel\, Ladies Auxiliary\, and Junior Firefighters from the White Bluff – Rye Hill Volunteer Fire Department take SANTA CLAUS aboard the fire trucks throughout the area\, handing out goody bags to kids and adults alike\, in order to promote the Christmas spirit\, fire safety\, and prevention and to display our fire trucks and firefighting equipment. This event has grown every year for the past 30+ years and is something the people in the area really look forward to each Christmas. It is funded by donations from area businesses and individuals\, and the flyer we send out in all of the “goody bags” has a list of the people and businesses who have contributed to the annual event. \nIf you or your business would like to donate and help out with our annual Santa Claus Visit (which will be held on December 8\, 2024)\, please feel free to contact any of our volunteers or email us at whitebluffryehillfire@gmail.com and we will get back to you!
